On May 13, the U.S. Department of Education announced the students who will be recognized at the national level as 2021 U.S. Presidential Scholars, including 20 students named as Presidential Scholars in Career and Technical Education! The U.S. Presidential Scholars program has existed since 1964 to recognize high school students for their outstanding achievements and commitment to public service, and was expanded in 2015 through efforts of the CTE Caucus Co-Chairs to include recognition of outstanding students in CTE.
