Growing interest in measuring postsecondary education's value in relation to career success has led USA Funds to award grants to four projects, including return on investment (ROI) studies, research analyzing qualitative measures of engagement and analyses of supply and demand.
USA Funds Performance Measurement Grants were awarded to four projects:
- Transforming Higher Education: Achieving Better Return on Investment and Employee Engagement, U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation with the American Institutes of Research and Gallup: Assessing the impact of postsecondary experiences, such as work-based learning, on employment, productivity and employee engagement.
- Indiana College Value Index, Indiana Commission for Higher Education: Incorporating data on graduate satisfaction and lifelong credential dividends into Indiana’s existing ROI reports.
- More Effectively Linking Higher Education to Workforce and Economic Development, National Center for Higher Education Management Systems: Developing an interactive, real-time model of supply and demand data and exploring the applications of this tool.
- State Workforce Education and Alignment Project, National Skills Coalition with JPMorgan Chase, Ford Foundation and USA Funds: State data reporting and analysis tools and support for technical assistance.
