Community colleges fulfill several missions for a diverse student population. The graduation rate of first-time, full-time students doesn’t tell the full story. To help community and technical colleges better illustrate the impact they have, the National Student Clearinghouse Research Center has identified three important categories of metrics:
In addition, almost half of all people with a bachelor’s degree attended a community college at some point. This and the above data points create a more complete picture of how community colleges can support students in their goals.
